In addition, he has held many leadership roles in a local computer club, is completing a degree in computer information systems, teaches computer classes in a local college, holds a master's degree from UT Austin and a bachelor's degree from Lamar University Beaumont, and publishes a regular local newspaper op-ed page guest column.
